Maite Perroni Beorlegui was born in Mexico City, and raised in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco from the age of eleven months.[2] Her father's job transferred the family there and the Perroni family stayed for over twelve years. She has two siblings, Adolfo and Francisco, who are three and nine years younger than she is.[3]
Perroni studied acting at Televisa's Centro de Educación Artistica (CEA) in the year 2000, completing two years of a three year course.
Antonieta and Victoria get work as seamstresses in Humberto Padilla's shop. Bernarda, blinded by religious fanaticism, and to cover up her son's sin, finds Victoria and mistreats her terribly. She causes a car accident where Victoria is injured and little Maria becomes separated from her Mom. When Victoria recovers, she looks for her daughter but is unable to find her. Full of rage and pain, she swears before God that she will never be humiliated by anyone again.
Juan Pablo is a young man who has decided to become a priest. He's the son of Mr. & Mrs. Iturbide, owners of the house where a humble girl named Victoria, works as a maid. Osvaldo crosses paths with Maria, and learns of her dreams and her admiration for Victoria. He invites the girl to appear before his wife, but Victoria treats her with contempt and arrogance even when she she is taken aback with Maria's resemblance to her in her younger days.
Many years pass, and Victoria has met her goals. Now she is a great fashion designer with her friend Antonieta as her right hand. Victoria is happily married to Osvaldo Sandoval, a popular actor, and has adopted Oswaldo's son, Maximiliano and their daughter, Fernanda. Apparently everything is great in her life. But when alone with Antonieta, she unleashes her terrible suffering for the loss of her daughter.
Maria Desamparada is now a young woman who is ready to leave the orphanage where she grew up and dreams of becoming a fashion model. She admires Victoria's work and is her institution's benefactor. Linda and Natty, are her best friends. The will three share a home and support each other emotionally as well.
Maximiliano, Osvaldo's son, is a good looking man who attracts women left and right. He's been in a steady and unstable relationship with Jimena for some time. When he and Maria meet, they become instantly attracted to each other and fall in love. This love is rejected by Victoria. Between Victoria and Jimena, they will try to make Maria's and Max's love life miserable. Ximena will lie by telling him she's expecting his child. Alas, Maria is also with child! Filled with rage and pain, and the constant scorn of Victoria, she seeks guidance and emotional support with Father Juan Pablo, who has become a respected priest. On a visit home, he inquires about Victoria to no avail.

With the help of his friend Ofelia, he sets out to destroy his acting career and his family. He carries on an affair with Ximena. The child she's expecting is really his!

She has become their most successful and popular model.Times passes and Victoria's company eventually goes bankrupt this is when Maria,now a wealthy and famous model becomes associates with Victoria.
